PopupControlContainerTool - text not showing on a vertical toolbar

I am using Infragistics 9.1.  I have a toolbar docked to the left (so it runs vertically down the side of the control).  I have added a PopupControlContainerTool and set the DropDownArrowStyle to 'Segmented'.  I have also set the tool so that it is 'Text Only'.  The text does not display on the toolbar.  Only a white square with a red x in it displays in the PopupControlContainerTool.  How do I get the text to show?

    The PopupControlContainerTool will not display its text in a vertical toolbar, even with its DisplayStyle set to TextOnlyAlways.  If you would like to submit a feature request for this functionality, you can do so here.
