Multi row selection in multi band UltraWinGrid

I wonder how I can do multi row selection in multi band UltraWinGrid. It looks like it is possible to select multi rows in the same band but I want to do it across different bands. My grid has hierarchical tree structure.

    Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4

    It is not supported through the UI. The only way is to do it programmatically.
