Hi,
I have an ultragrid with a number of group by columns that are added at runtime programmatically. On occasion I get the below exception.
It is difficult to replicate and occurs arbitrarily. I am not doing a cast of this kind anywhere in my code.
As you can see the exception is being thrown in the OnPaint method. Any thoughts?

Hi, I am facing the above issue and I am using "Infragistics4.Win.UltraWinGrid.v14.2.dll", can somebody please help to resolve this issue?
We recently encountered the same issue. Did upgrading to v9 fix the problem for you?
Hi Alan,
No, this is not something I'm familiar with. Do you have the latest service release?
How to get the latest service release - Infragistics Community
If you do, or that does not help, then is there any chance you can duplicate the exception in a sample project so we can take a look?
Another possible cause of an issue like this is threading. Is your application using multiple threads?
Hi Mike,
we just moved to Infragistics 9.1 from 7.1 in the hope that this problem would disappear.
Is this a known issue?
What version of the grid are you using? Do you have the latest service release?
