MDA Exception on Exporting Grid to PDF
posted

ContextSwitchDeadlock was detected
Message: The CLR has been unable to transition from COM context 0x6f8fd0 to COM context 0x6f9140 for 60 seconds. The thread that owns the destination context/apartment is most likely either doing a non pumping wait or processing a very long running operation without pumping Windows messages. This situation generally has a negative performance impact and may even lead to the application becoming non responsive or memory usage accumulating continually over time. To avoid this problem, all single threaded apartment (STA) threads should use pumping wait primitives (such as CoWaitForMultipleHandles) and routinely pump messages during long running operations.

The grid has several thousand rows but is filtered so only few tens of rows are visible. There are less than 20 columns but I still can't get the PDF export to complete.

Has anyone else encountered this error and how did you overcome it?

I am having the Identical error. It seems to work fine on a small grid, but when I have more rows it halted and gives me the same message. I don't use ant threading during the process.

    did you find the solution?

    regards,

This message seems to indicate that there are multiple threads operating at the same time and there has been some kind of conflict. The UltraGridDocumentExporter doesn't use any additional threads. Is your application do so?
