I have a winlistview in list mode with small icons.
Everything displays fine but when I detect a long name and end it with ... characters, the first letter disappears off the name. I can get around it by adding a space to the front of the item text but it seems like there is something funny with how the text layout is handled regarding the small space taken up by the periods?

I was not able to reproduce the issue you describe here with a simple test. If possible, please attach a simple sample that demonstrates the problem, or a screen shot that exhibits the behavior along with the property settings necessary to reproduce.
