I set the value of the 'CustomizerDescription' property for all my tools but now I cant find the 'Description' button that is supposed to display this.
The docs say that this string is displayed when the Description button is clicked on the Customize dialog. This is true for the COM version of UltraToolbars, but there is no Description button on the .Net version of the Customize dialog - just a large area of wasted space below the other 2 buttons.
It kind of looks like you reduced the size of the list boxes on the Commands tab so that you could display the description for the selected command (without requiring the user to click a button) [which in my opinion would be a much more user friendly interface] but then forgot to display the text.
Do I need to set some property in order to see the Description button, or is this a bug?
Thanks
Mike
Correct the button is there if I use Office2000 appearance, but descriptions only appear on the Keyboard dialog if I use later appearances.
I wil enter a bug report / request for change as the user really needs to be able to see that information when they are on the Commands tab. (and there is plenty of empty space to display it.)
I believe if you are using the Office2003 toolbars style or later, the description will only appear in the "Customize Keyboard" dialog which appears when you press the "Keyboard..." button in the customize dialog.
