Try as I might I do not seem to be able to affect how the tick box part of the Ultra Check Editor behaves in AppStylist.
Can anybody point me in the right direction.
Thanks Mike
Hi,
Oh, I see. The checkbox itself is drawn using the DotNet Framework, and these methods do not allow changing the colors. It picks up the system colors and there's no way to change them. So you can't just change the background color or the check mark color by itself.
But, you can replace the entire checkbox glyph with an image. Mouse over the CheckEditor and press C, then go to the CheckBoxGlyphInfo property and click the ellipsis button. This takes you to the glyph designer where you can create or assign images to each state of the checkbox.
Hi Mike
Please accept my apologies for my rather briefly worded enquiry.
I'm trying to modify the noirmodern.isl file and the UltraCheckEditor that comes with it looks exactly the same whatever state it is in (in my app). In the Appstyist - editors tab whether I press C, 1, 2, 3 or F on the ultra check editor, I do not seem to be able to affect how the tick box itself is displayed either colours or graphics - I can change the label and the overall background.
Please Help
I don't understand the question. AppStylist is for styling your application - it does not generally affect behavior. But I'm not really sure what behavior you are trying to modify here, so it's hard to answer your question.
