The control doesn't support alternate row appearance through app styling or the appearance model. What you can do is define two appearances, one for odd and one for even, iterate the Items collection, and assign the different appearances to even/odd numbered items. If sorting is enabled you would have to handle ColumnSorted and run the Items collection through the same logic therein.
