I am now getting errors relating to
"Found conflicts between different version of the same dependent assembly"
I install the service release. noted above.
Do I have to remove and all the infragistics references? run the project upgrader?
You need to make sure that all of the project references are changed to use the same, new version. The project upgrade utility should do that for you.
I tried the project upgrade utility it did not work. It did not modify the licenses.lix files. so i had to remove and readd the control references then i had to manually modify the version number in the licenses.lix file.
For future reference, the licx file is transitory. Any time you have a problem with it, you can simply delete the contents of the file and it will get rebuilt by Visual Studio.
I think the Project Upgrade Utility it supposed to clear it out for you. Maybe you have an old version of the utility. Or maybe the file was not editable. Or maybe I am wrong. :)
thanks for that bit of info. i didn'tknow that about the licx files.
It is possible that the file was read only.
