Hi,
We have just upgraded our project from 7.2 to 9.2 and noticed that there are differences in the Alt key behaviour for the toolbar manager, looks like pressing the Alt key will focus and activate the first tool on the toolbar. We use a key combination that involves the Alt key in the form and want to avoid this new behaviour, as the user might inavertedly press enter after using that alt combination and that will cause a click on the tool.
What property / override can use so that the toolbar manager does not focus & activate its first tool when Alt is pressed?
The callstack when the tool is activated after an Alt hit includes the following
Infragistics2.Win.UltraWinToolbars.v9.2.dll!Infragistics.Win.UltraWinToolbars.UltraToolbarsManager.InternalSetActiveTool(Infragistics.Win.UltraWinToolbars.ToolBase tool = {[Ask4Help-91b5c8b3-d4cd-4de5-867c-0b8e78adda29] - ButtonTool}, bool setOn = true, bool clearToolBeingEdited = false) + 0x31 bytes Infragistics2.Win.UltraWinToolbars.v9.2.dll!Infragistics.Win.UltraWinToolbars.UltraToolbarsManager.ToggleFirstMenuItemFocus() + 0x109 bytes Infragistics2.Win.UltraWinToolbars.v9.2.dll!Infragistics.Win.UltraWinToolbars.UltraToolbarsManager.System.Windows.Forms.IMessageFilter.PreFilterMessage(ref System.Windows.Forms.Message msg = {msg=0x105 (WM_SYSKEYUP) hwnd=0x11044 wparam=0x12 lparam=0xffffffffc0380001 result=0x0}) + 0x183c bytes
Thanks
Javier
