AcroForms were introduced in the PDF 1.2 format. AcroForms permit using objects (text boxes, radiobuttons, etc.) and some code (Javascript)

I like to make pdf reports where we can use text boxes and digital signature implemantations.
There some free implementations but then I need to make and custom converter for my reports. lots of work so before beginning maybe I overlooked it in your document.dll
