close button on tabs

I had been developing with NetAdvantage 7.3 for few months and just upgrade to NetAdvantage 8.1 because I read somewhere that WinTabbedMdi supports close button on tabs like IE 7.I have been unsuccessful in getting the close button to show up on tabs. I did the project upgrade to convert everything to 8.1. I see NetAdvantage 8.1 on my toolbar. I drag and drop the control and change the property for CloseButtonVisiblity to WhenSelected. Still no luck. Am I doing something wrong?

    Set the TabGroupSettings.CloseButtonLocation of the UltraTabbedMdiManager to TabCloseButtonLocation.Tab. You can also set this property on the settings of individual tab groups.  The CloseButtonVisiblity property is used to control the visibility of the close button on a per tab basis.
