I was using appointment.BarColor in the previous version of Infragistics but now, although I can set it, I cannot see the bar that was on the left of each appointment.
What is the property that I have to set to make the bar visible?

It appears you are applying some "custom" style to the control because that image does not look like the office 2007 style. Are you using a custom "AppStylist" skin?

BarColor support for the Office2007 ViewStyle was added in a hotfix; you need to download the latest version.
