Hi,
We used to use the component one flexgrid before we migrated to the infragistics toolkit. One thing we miss from this is one of there merge cell modes. I think it was called "MergeRestrictRows" or something similar. It worked by only merging cells if they had the same value AND the cell to the left was merged. See the example below. Notice how the ACWA services line stops merging one the third column, even though columns to the right are the same value, and how the age concern line merges up to column 6 (this represents a contract which changed on a particular date in the year, the top row is the first part of the year, and the bottom row the second part of the year. Is there any way to achieve this with the ultragrid?
Kev
Although I am using the MergedCellEvaluator but couldn't able to restrict merging some columns. Help urgent..
Thanks Mike
Hi Kev,
The MergedCellEvaluator is the way to go. There's no property setting.
I've got it working using a custom merge evaluator (ie, code) - is that the best way, or can it be done via a setting?
