Line 962 of the Microsoft Office UX guidelines says that the keytips should also be dismissed when SPACEBAR is pressed.
I'm trying to figure a way how to implement this, since the SPACEBAR currently doesn't dismiss the keytips.
It's version 9.2. It will be a while before we pick up 11.1

I am not sure what is exactly version of Infragistics that you are using, but I could confirm that in Infragistics 11.1 this behave just as line 962 of the Microsoft Office UX guidelines. You could easy check this if you run the sample “IG Paint with Ribbon in new Scenic Ribbon Style” from our “Windows Forms Feature Browser”. Please run the sample and press “Alt” in order to display key tips, then press “Space” in order to hide them.
