Hello,
Much like esytec here http://community.infragistics.com/forums/p/41310/229742.aspx my font rendering just broke for no apparent reason.
Text would look great at design time and then at run time it would look all jaggy.
So after a whole bunch of searching I can upon the the recommendation - use gdi. So I went ahead and did just that but wasn't too cheery about hacking the solution like that.
And then I revisited esytec's post. I also had a splash screen and to test the rendering I put a control on the splash screen to see if the text rendered ok on the splash screen. It did.
It was when the application itself started that things started going pear shaped.
The fix?
Add an infragistics label control to the splash screen with background and text colour set to transparent.
I have no idea why this works and would welcome some insight.
Thanks
abz
Hi,

I am not sure I understand what is the real issue, but I can suggest you to follow the explanation in the other forum thread I think that this is an MS issue or the suggested by Michael Saltzman answer. If you can upload your sample here I can check if it is not a rendering issue in our controls or I can redirect that question to someone who can answer you more accurately.
