Hello
I have a user control (windows user control) on which I have an ULtraGrid (v9.2) with custom functionality (like exporting to excel ....)
I want to host this user control inside a WPF control; in the project in which I had created the user control I have references to the following:
Infragistcs2.Excel.v9.2
Infragistcs2.Shared.v9.2
Infragistcs2.ultrawinEditors.v9.2
Infragistcs2.win.UltrawinGrid.v9.2
Infragistcs2.win.v9.2
the name of the class of my user control is called UCUltraGrid it's namespace is
SES.Accounting.Payroll.Win.UserControls
may you please guide me with the syntax that I should write to host the user control in the WPF control?
of course I'm using the
<WindowsFormsHost>
Hi,
Your question doesn't really have anything to do with WinGrid or Infragistics controls. You appear to be asking how to use a DotNet control in WPF. So your best bet is to check out Microsoft's documentation on that. Here's a link that might help:
Walkthrough: Hosting a Windows Forms Control in WPF by Using XAML
No my question really has something with WinGrid
I'm able to embed UltrawinGrid control on WPF Control however when I have a windowsUser control that has an ultrawingrid the user control doesn't appear though I'm able to manipulate it in the code behind
So you are saying that this works for other Windows Forms controls, but not for the WinGrid?
If that's the case, then I have no idea why that would be. You might want to try posting in one of the WPF forums - someone there might have a better idea.
