Am I missing something?

The ultraformatedtexteditor has built in formatting tools (bold, underline, etc.) but these do not give the <b></b> tags etc. despite the documentation saying otherwise and when you send the value (ie formatted text) to the document report printer IText object it doesnt recognize the formatting.

Dont the two development groups talk to each other?

Not only do I have to write my own formatting so it can be used with the IText object but i also have to hijack key presses events etc. so my users who know CTL+B etc. wont be able to use it to put in the incorrect formatting.

Is there a work around or hot fix for this?
