I'm not sure what you mean. A Summary is calculated based on the values in the cells for the column. So there is no "default" value - it always has a calculated value.

There's no property to assign any kind of default value to a summary - since it will never have a default value. But if you want to change the display of the summary in some specific circumstances, the easiest way to do so would be to use a CreationFilter.
