Hi,
Is there a way to see the Gannt in resource view? I need to find a simple way to see if a resource is overallocated. Basically I need to schedule production operations against machines and need to see if a machine is over allocated
thanks in advance,
Abhishek
Any ideas? I am still waiting for help.
thanks,
Hello Abhishek,
Could you please illustrate your requirements with a screenshot if possible, I am not sure what you are asking for here.
Hi Boris,
I am attaching a document that will help you understanding my requirement. The left pane shows resources or machines and right hand pane shows their loading along a time line. One can easily see if a machine is overallocated. We were unable to find a way to do the same in ultragantt view
I believe that you need the UltraGanttView control in this situation, not the GanttChart, it could be easier and faster for you.
You could see samples regarding this in our 'Windows Forms Feature Browser'.
If you have this installed(if you have marked 'Samples' when installing Net Advantage), you could run it from 'Start Menu' -> 'All Programs' -> 'Infragistics' -> 'Windows Forms' -> 'Samples' -> 'Samples (local)'.
When it loads, you can type in the 'Search:' "GanttView" and check the samples about our control.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need any additional assistance.
I wanted to know if you were able to solve your issue based on these suggestions or you still need help. Please let me know.
Hello Boris,
We are indeed using UltraGanntView. But it does not has the features we are looking for. We are now evaluating other vendors.
Thank you.
best regards,
I might be misunderstood you here. I believe that the samples illustrate your requirements. Please let me know if you have any other requirements, I will be happy to assist you.
