Stuttery/Jerky Scrolling on UltraGrid

Hi - we've recently converted from a (non-virtualized) WPF DataGrid to the WinForms UltraGrid.

We've noticed that although the UltraGrid uses less memory and scrolls faster when using the scrollbar, scrolling by mousewheel is very stuttery. We are using the 11.2 version of the grid. This can be easy replicated by loading up a grid with lots of columns and applying a few levels of grouping. Notice that scrolling by dragging the scrollbar will be smooth and quite usable, but using the mousewheel (especially when scrolling quickly), things get choppy or grid to a halt.

Is there a reason for this phenomenon?

    Hi,

    I see you already have a similar post from yesterday (here).  We have a case created for you already from that thread and are determining if this is similar to an issue we have found and corrected and is currently being tested.  Please use the other thread and your case for further updates.
