If you want to achieve desired look and feel you should apply an image to your StateButtonTool. You are able to apply an image without using imageList. Please take a look at the attached video for more details and let me know if you have any questions.

i have gone through your sample that you have used some image list.but in my application im not using that image list.i hav created this as a simple ultra toolbar manager button tool.so can you help me for that ?
