I have few forms through out the software that have the same behavior in terms of the issue. It happens on my machine (development environment) and all the other machines that software have been installed.
All the forms have to ribbon that is working and displaying all the features absolutey fine, once it opened. When the form is been minimized and opened again, top ribbon is gone. Only white blank square is displayed where the ribbon suppose to be.
I tried to click or drag on the white blank area, but nothing happens.
I am developing software with VB.NET 2012 using Infragistics 12.1 on Windows 8 machine.
Is this a bug in the ribbon? We are working with Infragistics for a long time now and we never had this issue. It started to happen recently. Any thoughts?
I'm running the exact same OS, Win 7 Enterprise SP1 64bit.
I do not use Remote Desktop Connection.
I do not have third-party text-to-speech or any screen reading software or any software that would affect painting of the screen.
All Color Management settings are set to Default as shown in screenshot.
Hello,
Thank you for the provided files. I’ve tried to reproduce this on my machine (Windows 7 Enterprise Service Pak 1, 64-bit OS) with “Windows 7 Basic”, “Windows Classic” and “High Contrast #1” themes and I was not able to reproduce this, please see attached video. So could you please let me know what exactly is the version of your windows, have you been applied some Service Pack on it. Is this happened when you access your Windows trough Remote Desktop Connection? Have you been installed any third-party software that could affect painting of your screen, like software for voice reading of the screen content. What is your settings in “Color Management” -> Advanced tab (in start menu search type “Color Management” and press enter ).
I am waiting for your feedback.
Here's a sample that will let you reproduce the issue. It looks like it also has to do with changing the AppStyle.
1. You need to set your Windows theme to a non-Aero one, like the Basic theme (see pic in zip file).
2. Run the sample app.
3. Minimize the window.
4. Restore the window and Ribbon will be blank (see video clip in zip file).

I tried to create a project with one form and ribbon. I have added all the themes that I am using and as many components and controls as possible to reproduce this error, but unfortunately I can't succeed.
My project is a big peace of software that have number of references, forms, resources, and other components and it is close to impossible to replicate this in one single example.
