I am trying to export an 80,000 row grid to Excel using Infragistics 2008 Vol1 CLR 2. Even though we have Excel 2010 installed on the machine in question, which can easily handle this many rows, I am hitting an excel maxrowcount error. I presume that this is because the version of Infragistics that I am usingis older. Is this true and if so, will upgrading solve this problem?

That`s correct. You could try to upgrade to version 13.1 or 13.2 and everything will works properly.
