Hi,
I have two questions about 3D Heat Map chart.
1. In the documentation, it is stated that up to 255 columns are supported for 3D Heat Map chart.
Is there a plan for increasing the number of columns supported? I need at least 320 columns in order to represent my data .
2. The heat map charts' data source is binded to a data table which contains 255 columns and 255 rows. And it is nearly impossible to display the chart. I think there are serious rendering problems. Is there another way to represent my data as surface chart?
Thanks in advance,
Bakidost
1: i'm not sure where the limit of 255 comes from, or if it's even enforced. i think the real limitation there is performance -- in any case, we don't have any plans to change this right now ... but you can submit a feature request: http://devcenter.infragistics.com/protected/requestfeature.aspx
2: i don't think there's any way around this limitation, besides simplifying your data or using a different type of chart.
