When I click or double click on the More Items arrow icon nothing happens? how can I make this work? the all day event has a scroll bar setting, but the events don't and i have many customers that have more items than can be shown.

Hello Philip,
The icon is used as an indicator to tell the user that there are more appointments, which are not currently able to be shown. Resizing the control to accommodate extra space will address this behavior. Adding the option to have a vertical scrollbar for a given day is considered a new feature request.
