Hello,
Our product uses the UltraWinSchedule control. When a user is using the UltraDayView mode and they right clicks the user will sometimes get a .NET error. It's erratic and we are unable to recreate the issue on our end. Have you guys heard of this issue or do you know what's causing it? The following is the exception text from the .NET error:
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Infragistics.Win.UltraWinSchedule.UltraDayView.RestoreAppointmentsToPreDragPositions() at Infragistics.Win.UltraWinSchedule.UltraDayView.OnDragOperationEnded(Boolean hadStarted, Boolean canceled) at Infragistics.Win.UltraWinSchedule.UltraDayView.Infragistics.Win.ISelectionManager.OnDragEnd(Boolean cancelled) at Infragistics.Win.UltraWinSchedule.UltraDayView.OnMouseDown(MouseEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseDown(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)
Thanks,
Bob
Hi,
We need to be able to reproduce and debug the behavior in order thoroughly test before and after any code changes are made. Can you please provide an outline of your application? (eg. Word format/ user manual, describing how your application is setup)
I'd like to build an application that resembles yours. If you can provide screenshots and or a video of the behavior recorded I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks.
I've got to say this is pretty frustrating. We have tried our best to provide you with as much detail as we can but despite our efforts we simply can not give you a nice reproducible example. Does this mean you just ignore the issue and do nothing about it? There is clearly a bug in your code, it is your job to investigate and fix it or at least suppress it. Why should your customers be required to do all the work for you? If you can't figure out what is causing it then at the very least suppress the issue so it doesn't cause our applications to crash - frustrating our customers, wasting their time and making our products that use your controls appear unstable.
A sample was never provided to us, thus we never determined the cause of the issue nor was it ever fixed. If you are able to send us a sample I'd greatly appreciate it.

Let me know if you have any questions regarding this matter.
When will there be a fix for this issue? This is becoming a major hassle for our customers who are getting multiple app crashes a day using infragistics version 15.1.20151.2132.
Hello Aaron,
Thank you. We've logged a development work item for this exception.
If you have any additional questions regarding the status please update your private case.
Have a nice day.
