When I set the DefaultRowHeight property on the Excel Worksheet object to 300 twips, the actual RowHeight when I save the Workbook and open it is 12.75. 300 twips should give a RowHeight of 15, which is 300/20. I find that If I set the DefaultRowHeight to a much higher value, like 700 it works. For this case, the rows all have a height of 35 when I open the saved workbook. I need the RowHeight to be 15. I can get it to work by setting the RowHeight of each individual row to 300, but I'm wondering why the DefaultRowHeight property doesn't work for this specific value.
thanks,
Great! Thanks for the update.
Hi Kobie,
After further consideration and discussion with our development team, we have decided to investigate this behavior further. I have logged this in our internal issue tracking system with id of 181570 and I have created a private ticket for you - CAS-143226-K4S5K4. You can view your active cases from the following link:

Thanks for your response. As I mentioned in my original post, I know that I can set the individual height of each row to 300 to get the desired behavior. I was not aware that changing the font size on an individual row affected the height, at least when making the font smaller. This behavior differs from the Excel COM behavior in that if you decrease the font size, the row height of 15 doesn't change. This is the behavior I was trying to match.
Thanks again for your response. I'll set the individual row heights.
