How do I get the screen relative rectangle of an UIElement?

I know how to get the rectangle, it is the Rect property.  Do I have to walk the parentage to generate the screen relative rectangle, or is there a simpler way?

 For instance, I want the screen relative rectangle of a RowUIElement within an UltraGrid.
