I first looked into hierarchical/nested data which worked well for me except that it was too much code trying to get the parent and child columns to synchronize (when columns are moved, resized, filtered, sorted etc). I am now looking into Group By. I only want groups to show when there are more than one item so for example, in the attached screenshot, I would like the groups 1000 and 1001 to show as the individual records instead of as groups of one item.
Can you please advise how I can achieve this?
Furthermore, is it possible to hide the group functionality from the user but to do it behind the scenes?
