2018.1 Installer is not finding WPF local Service Release with /patch option
posted

I am trying to install "Infragistics Professional 2018 Vol 1" with the WPF service release version 20181.176. I am running the install from the command line with options: "/passive /product WPF /key <key> /thirdparty /nofeedback /nodownload /patch". The service release is in the local "Service Releases" directory and it is the only one in there. I'm seeing it install 2018.1 WPF version 18.1.82 and not locating the SR.

I have noticed that if the Winforms service release version 20181.177 is in the "Service Releases" directory, that installs just fine.

Has anyone else seen an issue where a specific Service Release is not found?

    Hello Nicholas,

I brought this issue up to our engineering teams and after we both tried this, we were able to reproduce this same behavior you are seeing. Our engineering teams took a look at it and found a mismatched property value for WPF when looking for the service release in the Service Releases folder.

As such, they have created a new version of the 2018.1 platform installer that fixes this. You can download it using this link.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns on this matter.
