I m trying to render surface 3D as shown in figure attached but not getting the right display.
Can someone provide me some pointer, how to go about it?
Hello Anushri,
I have been investigating into the behavior you are looking to achieve, and I’d like to gain some perspective on the screenshot you have provided. Can you please provide some information on the following?
1. Which axis is shown by the “back wall” pink outline in your screenshot?
2. Are you trying to render a full 3D model rather than just a surface in this case?
I ask the above, as currently the XamScatterSurface3D chart only currently supports rendering surfaces and cannot do full 3D models. Currently, the XamScatterSurface3D chart uses only a single Z-value at any given X/Y coordinate. That is to say, it can only render what the user would see from a top-view. For example, if you were looking to render a sphere, you would instead see a dome (half of a sphere). If this is an accurate description of what you are trying to do, and you would like to see this implemented in a future version of the XamScatterSurface3D chart, I would recommend suggesting a new product idea for this at our WPF Ideas Site, here. This will place you in direct communication with our product management teams who plan and prioritize upcoming features and development based on community and user feedback.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns on this matter.
