I've been trying to come up with an answer on this. Is dragging and dropping multiple nodes in a XamDataTree supported yet? I asked in this thread but got no reply, likely because it's been marked as answered.

Since that thread is over 5 years old, I was hoping that this had been added as a feature, but it doesn't appear to work. Any thoughts?

Thank you for contacting. Unfortunately we still do not have inbuilt support for multiple node drag and drop in the XamDataTree.

Is there any kind of workaround on this? Any way to capture the selected list of items in the tree when a person starts dragging?
Currently we do not have this functionality inbuilt and i dont have the workaround for that.
In order to get the list of selected node you can refer to public post provide information with the sample application.
Moreover if you want to get the node list while dragging ,we dont have any exposed property/method for that.
