How do I sync a group in the quick access toolbar to the one in the Ribbon

I noticed that if I add a disabled group to the quick access bar the group items do not display when clicked. Then when I add the group when it is enabled the group items display. Also when the group is added when it is enabled it is in sync when the group is disabled and displays the group items. Is this a bug?

    This does look to be a bug as the  group in the QAT does not enable/disable when it does in the ribbon. I have an issue waiting with support on this. Hopefully it will be resolved in the next hotfix.
