I can’t able to suppress the in-built(Default) Context Menu. When I right click on any numeric/date-time datatype column or recordcell, it invokes default context menu rather than using my custom menu. It is invoked only when I use string datatype for column. Please give some suggestion how to solve this problem???????????????
Hi Preeti,
Here's the sample that works on my machine. I've attached it to this post. It's possible that this used to be an issue and was fixed at some point and that's why I can't repdocue it. If you can still reproduce the issue with this sample, you should report it to infragistics support at http://ko.infragistics.com/gethelp. This way they can look at it in case it's something specific to your app.
Hope this helps,
Sandip
Hi Sandip,
I've just tried to install new hotfix (NetAdvantage_WPF_20071_Hotfix_1324.msp) from "My Keys and Download" on infragistics website but in-built contect menu is still invoked. Have you tried my scenerio on the XamDataGrid for cell that is not in edit mode? Is it this hotfix you are telling me to use or there is some other. Please if you have any solution please reply as soon as possible ....Could you send your sample which you have tried so that I can check how at your side no such problem is arising. Please send tthe sample if possible at following ID :

Hot fixes are available on the website by going to your 'View My Keys and Downloads' page and clicking our your registered WFF key and clicking on the hot fixes icon.
There are blog entries in Vince's blog that describe how to use the online search of bug reports to review fixed issues for any product
I am not using any hotfix at this moment, could you please provide us the location from where I can download it? And also please provide me the list of changes and updates that are available with the hotfix?
Preeti
I've just tried your scenario and can't reproduce the issue. I get the custom context menu when right clicking on both text columns as well as date time, numeric etc... columns, as long as the cell is not in edit mode. This sounds similar to an issue that was fixed a while ago. Are you using the latest hotfix? If not try with the latest hotfix and see if that resolves the issue.
