Are you planning to offer those calendar control we're used to in WPF as well, or you suggest I interact with winforms in my WPF application?

A suite of WPF schedule controls is currently on our roadmap; however, I don't forsee it making it this year.
You can certainly use the interop story with Windows Forms as it has a lot of functionality and will continue to get more functionality as the Windows Forms suite continues to mature.
