Errer Generating Series in xamChart from c# code with datatemplate

Hello, Im having trouble in generating column chart from c# code. I am creating a chart adding series to it using DataPoint, but the chart is not applying the datatemplate for the columns, i am getting only the marker displayed. Can anyone please help me in solving this problem. Thanks Arvind

Data templates works only for 2D charts. 3D charts do not support data templates.

Hi Thank you for the help. I was able to apply the template to 2d chart but was not able to apply to 3d chart. Can you kindly tell me how to apply resourse for 3d chart. I Have the demo of this prodect it shows its using resource dictionary. How can i get the resource dectionary. Regards Arvind

Hello,

UseDataTemplate property from series has to be set to ‘true’ if you want to create your own data point template. If you want to use default appearance of data points set UseDataTemplate to ‘false’.
