I've been comparing the perfomance of the WPF grid with 2 of your main competitors when displaying a large amount of data read from an Access database (about 900,000 rows and 16 columns).

The Infragistics control is much slower when it comes to grouping than the other 2 controls I've tried. For example grouping by one field takes about 20 seconds the first time and 7 seconds the 2nd and subsequent times. This compares with times of 5 seconds and 1 second respectively for one competitor and 3.5 seconds (both first and subsequent times) for the other. There were similar differences when filtering and sorting.

Are you aware of these differences and do you have any plans to reduce the performance gap ?
