If a content pane is in floating state, one can drag it beyond the task manager. Visual Studio, however, prevents you from doing this.
Can we achieve this using xamDockManager?
Could you provide more information on how you are reproducing the problem with the XamDockManager?
Vlad, this is not a bug as such, just an enhancement I think you need to add to the XamDockManager.
To duplicate:
1. Create a project with xamDockManager
2. Float a ContentPane
3. Drag floated ContentPane out of xamDockManager towards the bottom of screen. You should be able to observe that this floated pane can be lost by dragging it beyond the Windows Task Manager .
I was able to duplicate the behavior and it looks like an issue with the XamDockManager. I've created a support ticket (CAS-52444-627YWW) and will update you on e-mail when I have more information on this.
