On an application deployed to a copy of Windows Vista (SP 1), upon opening a XamDateTimeEditor control (or even trying to edit the date values); the entire application crashes.
Upon inspecting the event log, this is the result of the crash:

This error only seems to happen when attempting to interact with the only XamDateTimeEditor control in our application branch. In our trunk version of the application, we are using this control more frequently
The problem is not reproducible in Windows XP, or even some other versions of Vista. All machines tested on (included the one that fails) are using United States(English) Region settings.
This is presently occurring with version 9.2 of the Infragistics WPF control. We are going to branch our release and upgrade to 10.2 Infragistics controls, however are unsure whether or not this will remedy the problem.
Has this error come up before, and are there any other possible solutions to fix it?
Thanks,Sheldon
Hello Sheldon,
It has been a while since you have made your post, in case you still need support I will be glad to assist you further. I suppose the other community members can benefit from this answer as well. So I have been looking through your post and tested the XamDateTimEditor with Windows Vista SP2 and NetAdvantage v. 9.2, 10.2 and 11.1 and it seems like that everything works ok on my side. Since v.9.2 is retired, I suggest you use some of our supported versions or install SP2 on your machine.
Feel free to write me if you have further questions.
