Hi, I want to customize the label/image that pops up on the XamDataGrid when you use the scrollbar. I don't know what it is called our how to target it.
Specifically, instead of displaying the value of the first visible cell in my data record, I want it to display the value of a cell farther in (in the above example, it would be the 'ID' Field).

I have been looking into this for you and can suggest you use the XamDataGrid’s built-in functionality for that. What you can do is set the desired Field’s IsScrollTipField to "True" (In your case the ID Field).
