Our team is moving from WinForms to WPF. We previously used the UltraWinGrid extensively.
We are looking for some functionality that previously existed in the UltraWinGrid that is now not present in the XamDataGrid. One of these functionalities is the capability to merge cells.
Are there any plans to implement this functionality in the XamDataGrid? If not, any tips on how to start implementing this?

It has been a while since you have made your post, in case you still need support I will be glad to assist you further. I suppose the other community members can benefit from this answer as well. I have been looking into your post and I created a sample project for you with that functionality. Also I can say that since we import xamGrid from Silverlight in our Netadvantage WPF LOB 11.2 version there is such built-in functionality.
