dg = xamdatagrid...

fieldlayout.clear() or Fieldlayouts.fields.clear()....both are eliminating the groupbyarea.

            dg.DataSource = ds.Tables[0].DefaultView;
            dg.UpdateLayout();

            fl.Clear();

            f.Name = "details";
            f.Label = "details";
            fl.Add(f);
            dg.UpdateLayout();

}

I find no file attachment possiblity.
