I'm trying to use the scenic theme, and I see that the default brushes for it contain references to the Color Washing used in the other themes.
Is it possible to use the color washing for this theme? If so, how? I tried to use the same mechanism as the other themes and it didn't appear to work.
HI,
We have re-focusing our efforts to address all outstanding posts to our forum and trying to make sure that includes any older posts. We have been making progress in that regard but it is a work in progress.
If you get a chance you might want to try my suggestion.
I appreciate your patience and hope that you will let me know if you have any questions.
I have not tried what was in the reply.
Honestly, the reply took so long, I went another route and just reworked all the templates for the Ribbon. Just shy of 8 months is a long time to wait on an answer from the company we're supposed to be getting support from for the products we paid for.
Not the solution I wanted, but it worked well enough.
I’m just following up on this forum post.
Is there anything further that I can help you with regarding this issue?
If so, please feel free to contact me.
Hi,
Have you seen Matev’s blog about using color washing of themes?
http://blogs.infragistics.com/blogs/kiril_matev/archive/2010/08/30/theming-your-infragistics-wpf-line-of-business-applications-made-quick-and-easy.aspx
He provides a description and a sample that demonstrates the process for xamEditors, xamRibbon and xamDataGrid.
I was able to change the ribbon to use the following reference to RibbonScenic theme in the MergedDictionaries .
<igThemes:RibbonScenic />
Let me know if this is the information you were looking for.
Concerning the second part of your question, I’m not sure I understand your description of the “default brushes for it contain references to the Color Washing used in the other themes.” Please describe what you saw and where so that I can investigate. What behavior did this generate?
