I've gap in understanding on how to write masks for the ig controls in the xaml correctly.

According to the online documentation -> http://help.infragistics.com/NetAdvantage/WPF/2011.1/CLR4.0/

I try to set the mask to date but it doesnt work

here my xaml

what am I doint wrong ?
