What is the difference between XamChart / XamDataChart dlls

The XamDataChart is targeted toward applications that need to show live data, multiple series, or large amounts of data points. The XamChart is a more basic version of the chart for simpler scenarios.
I would recommend downloading the samples to see which chart better suits your needs. You can download the Platform Installer and choose to only install the WPF DV samples.
