I believe in the older calendar control, when there are many tasks in the same tiemslot, the view changes to show a button or indication that there are multiple appointments and clicking on that brings up a popup with all appointmetns for that timeslot.
From the screenshot above, the view is not visually appealing and usable when there are many appointments. Is there a default setting in teh scheduler that will present the tasks in a more pragmatic UX ?
If not, please suggest alternate options, like If i can accomplish this by styling any component of the Scheduler.
Thank You,
Hariharan
If by older calendar control you are referring to UltraDayView then no it did not change the view. It would reduce the width of the items which is what xamDayView and MS Outlook do. The controls that arrange overlapping activities into vertical rows like xamMonthView and xamScheduleView will show an indicator since the height of the activities is constant and at least in xamMonthView and xamScheduleView clicking that indicator will actually scroll the activities inline. If you wish to display activities in a different manner in xamDayView you would need to submit a feature request. Currently since we are mimicing the Outlook view and that is how Outlook renders the activities that is the only way in which the activities are displayed in xamDayView.
