I created a style first

<Style TargetType="{x:Type igDP:CellValuePresenter}" x:Key="CheckUncheckHandler">
                        <Setter Property="Template">
                            <Setter.Value>
                                <ControlTemplate TargetType="{x:Type igDP:CellValuePresenter}">
                                    <CheckBox HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center"
                                              IsChecked="{Binding RelativeSource={RelativeSource TemplatedParent}, Path=Content}"
                                               Checked="IndividualCheckBox_Checked" Unchecked="IndividualCheckBox_Checked"
                                              />
                                </ControlTemplate>
                            </Setter.Value>
                        </Setter>
                    </Style>

Then in my field settings i used that style:-

<my:Field.Settings>
<my:FieldSettings AllowEdit="True" CellValuePresenterStyle="{StaticResource CheckUncheckHandler}"/>
 </my:Field.Settings>

And had event handler methods in my code behind...

private void IndividualCheckBox_Checked(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
        {
            try
            {
                if (sender is CheckBox)
                {
                    if (xamPresenter.ActiveDataItem != null)
                    {
                        DataRowView drowView = (DataRowView)xamPresenter.ActiveDataItem;
                       //Do your thing here
                    }
                }
            }
            catch (Exception ex)
            {
                throw ex;
            }
        }
