xamcomboeditor - tab control causing validation to occur

i am using this code. when i enter 8 characters into the box then attempt to tab out of it, the tab is causing a message saying value must contain no more than 8 characters.

    I have been looking into your post and I have been trying to reproduce your scenario without no success. When I enter 8 characters into the editor and tab off, no error message appears. I am sending you my sample application(ComboEditorConstraints.zip) that I have used for my tests.

     

    If I have misunderstood you in any way, please send me an isolated sample application where this exception occurs, in order to provide you with more accurate assistance.
