I have WPF Ultimate 2011.2 installed and am using this for one client project. Another client is going to be using WPF DV. So I installed a trial version of it.
Now, the project that uses WPF Ultimate won't compile and comes up with a host of errors.
Are there incompatibility issues between the two versions? Can I run both at the same time? Is DV newer or older than WPF Ultimate?
Hello,
I am just checking if you got this worked out or you still require any assistance or clarification on the matter.

I have been looking into your enquiry and I am not sure what you have in mind, since both NetAdvantage for WPF Data Visualization and NetAdvantage for Silverlight Data Visualization are part of the NetAdvantage Ultimate as shown here (at the bottom) : http://ko.infragistics.com/dotnet/netadvantage/ultimate.aspx#Overview . I assume that by installing a Trial version through the e.g. complete bundle download installer you have installed the RTM version for the DV package as where the Line of Business package – NetAdvantage for WPF has a been updated to the latest service release through the Platform Installer that is used to install the NetAdvantage Ultimate’s sub packages. Since both WPF packages (DV and LoB) need to be usable together in projects they need to have the same specific versions of their assemblies, which you can achieve by install the latest Service Releases for the both. In your particular case I can suggest you uninstall the DV package and only run the NetAdvantage Ultimate’s Platform Installer which will provide you with a licensed version of the DV pack and will, by default, install it with the latest Service Release attached.
Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance on the matter.
